SENIOR TRAINING (Winter) High School / Leisure Centre

Club training nights are Tuesday and Thursday at 6pm. winter training takes place on Tuesdays from the Hogh School and on Thursdays from the Leisure Centre. sessions will include, tempo running, long rep sessions with short recoveries, Fartlek and hill work. All standards of runners are welcome to come along and join in, no one gets left behind.

Session sample, Hill Reps:
Warm up: 1-2ml jogging
Hill Reps: 12x1-2min hill rep, jog back recovery
Warm down

Session sample, endurance reps:
Warm up 1-2ml jogging
6x4min (rec. 2min)
warm down

JUNIOR TRAINING (Winter) Claggan Park

Tuesdays, Lochaber High School, 6pm till 7.30pm. Please bring suitable kit, which should include
Hat, gloves
lighlweight long sleeve top
long bottoms
shower proof top
suitable trainers (running trainers with support).
Water bottle.
Try not to eat a heavy meal too close to training, light snacks such as a banana, slice of toast or cereal are better. Training groups will be using the hall, astro turf and could also be outdoors for some or all of their sessions, so please come suitably prepared. Contact Dawn 702576, for up to date info.
