Twenty eight runners took part in Sundays race at Leanachan sponsored by Off Beat Bikes.The course used an undulating six miles of forestry roads and single track with some sharp climbs and even sharper descents to add to the lung busting.
Starting at Nevis Range base gondola station a brief climb up the Downhill course was followed by a gradual contour of the hillside using the Puggy line, before a descent down and back up towards the car park through the hole in the wall.
First back across the line maintaining his excellent current form was Peter Kennedy closely followed by Mark Shaw with Donald Paterson managing third despite a long sleep in ! First lady was Amanda Blackhall with Nicola Forster and Emma Pearce coming second and third respectively and first vet was Graham McNab.
