31 starters at the junior RiverBank race, the heavy shower at the start put off one, but everyone else braved the weather, and most enjoyed the run. The weather brightened up towards the end of the race which saw Paul Mitchell of Caol come in as race winner, leading from the start in his ever determined fashion. 2nd was Ross Douglas with another good run, followed by 1st girl Hazel Dunn. There was a sprint finish between Cara Mackay and Maxine Fraser which ended up in a tie - they're both now even points leading the under 13 girls league with one race to go. All these under 13 girls ran substantially faster than they did a year ago.Well done.
Rory MacLennon and Kelly MacDiarmid were under 11 winners and have now both won three races in a row. Ross Curtis and Sean Munro weren't far behind in the under 11 boys for 2nd and 3rd places. Ruth Earnshaw being 2nd Under11 girl improving her time from last year with Kathleen Cameron not far behind her. Well done all junior finishers for braving the mud, the weather and running with lots of enthusiasm.
