junior waiting list, we now have a waiting list for the under 11-age group at the club training. (This means if you are still age 10 or under on the 31st August 2006)
We will take a register every week, any one who does not come to training for 3 weeks on a row will lose there place at training and will have to go back on the waiting list if they still wish to come to training. This will apply from Tuesday 9th May 2006.
This currently does not apply to anyone who is aged 11 and over or anyone who is 11 between now and 31st August 2006.

Well done to, Isla MacKay,Mairead MacPhee and Katie MacLennan won team bronze at the North District X-Country Champioships. And congratulations to Calum Fraser,KirstinMoynihan,Isla MacKay, who have all be invited for the North Teams at the Inter District Edinburgh X-Country in January.

The under 13 girls all had particuarly good runs, unfortunately Niall Clark took quite a tumble in the mud.

Sunday 28th May – Billy Brooks Memorial Peat Track Race, which includes the Junior Braveheart Trail Race. Registration will be from 12.30pm at the leisure centre, with the race at approx. 1pm from Braveheart Car Park running over past the flag back to the leisure centre. Graham Brooks has ordered up lots of trophies for the event and there will be a presentation at the Shinty club afterwards. A responsible adult must accompany anyone under 9.
Junior race is free.

Age categories for prizes are:
Under 10 boys and girls( born 1996 or after)
Under 12 boys and girls(born 1994,1995)
Under 14 boys and girls(born 1992,1993)
Under 16 boys and girls(born 1990,1991)
Anyone older can run with seniors over the Peat Track

Norwich Union shine:awards
Over the winter months the younger section of juniors took part in the shine:awards scheme. The award that everyone took part in was the sports hall multi event award were points are awarded for performances in different events e.g. 2 lap pursuit, speed bounce, standing triple jump, throwing a javelin.
